Guidelines for Participants
To ensure a smooth and fair experience for every participant, clear guidelines have been established for Anveshan 2025. These guidelines cover general conduct, registration requirements, submission processes, evaluation methods, and event regulations. All teams are expected to carefully read and adhere to these instructions, as they are designed to maintain transparency, professionalism, and the spirit of innovation throughout the hackathon. General Guidelines
- Presentation Requirement: For the Subsection Round, each team must prepare a PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) outlining the problem statement, proposed solution and approach, technology stack, implementation plan, and expected outcomes based on the Tracks for Anveshan. If Tracks are not followed it will lead to an immediate disqualification. View Tracks Download Presentation Template
- Use of Facilities: Participants are expected to use the host college’s infrastructure and equipment responsibly. Tampering, graffiti, or unauthorized use of facilities is strictly prohibited. Any damage caused will be the responsibility of the team and may lead to disciplinary action or disqualification.
- Point of Contact: All the communication and information regarding the hackathon will be shared through email to the team leader.
- In Case of Emergency: Event coordinators will serve as the primary point of contact for all technical, logistical, or health-related issues. Emergency contacts and details of medical personnel will be provided before the event begins.
- Code of Conduct: Collaboration, exchange of ideas, or sharing of resources between different teams is not permitted. Any violation will result in disqualification.
Registration Guidelines
- Team Formation: Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 members, including a designated team leader. All members must belong to the same institution. Interdisciplinary teams are encouraged.
- Registration Fee (excluding GST):
- Teams consiting all IEEE Student Members:
₹700₹500 per team. - Teams consisting non IEEE Student Members: ₹700 per team.

Presentation and Submission Guidelines
- Format of Submissions:
- Subsection Round: A PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) (PPT Template is provided above) should be presented in front of judges.
- Section Round-Finale (software teams): A working GitHub repository (name of repository should be same as team number) of the project along with a live, functional application link.
- Section Round-Finale (hardware teams): A working prototype to be demonstrated in person.
- Originality: All submissions must be original and created by the team. Plagiarism, code reuse without proper credit, or submission of pre-existing work will result in disqualification.
Evaluation Criteria

Projects will be evaluated by a panel based on the following:
- Innovation and creativity
- Technical execution and feasibility
- Practical application and real-world impact
- Quality of presentation and teamwork
- Final Decision: The decision of the judges will be final and binding. No appeals or reassessments will be entertained once results are announced.
Round 2 Guidelines
Register for Hackathon
- Hardware Components: Teams working on hardware must bring all required components for demonstration and testing.
- Software Readiness: Teams must bring their laptops with all necessary tools, code, and environments ready to continue development or present.
- Venue Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain discipline, follow the instructions of the coordinators, and uphold decorum throughout the event.
- General Instructions: Follow any additional directions provided by event coordinators on the day of the round.
